Talk about something you like….you should enjoy your essay topic. Think of it as having a conversation with someone. Your first paragraph is really important….your goal is to capture the reader. Proof read several times. Show some humility.

Did you know there are over 2,000 homeless students throughout Columbus and Muscogee County?

The Muscogee County School District, in partnership with the MCSD Homeless Education and Literacy Program (HELP), is holding a donation drive to collect some much needed items for our students who are homeless. Please help us to help them!

WHO: MCSD and Homeless Education Literacy Program
WHAT: Donation Drive for Homeless Students
WHERE: Every school throughout the district
WHEN: November 1st – November 30th
Each school will focus on specific items which include:
Elementary Schools: Socks and Gloves
Middle Schools: Travel Size Items for Hygiene Kits
High Schools: Coats, Hats and Blankets
